MISS SFB 2010

Preparation for the Miss School of Finance and Banking (SFB) 2010 is in full swing.

Eight ladies, ages 20 to 25, will compete for prizes and the chance to be crowned Miss SFB during the annual beauty pageant scheduled for  Saturday, Feb 27 at the University’s Hall.

In an interview, the outgoing Miss SFB, Joan Ingabire said that the titleholder of the Miss SFB pageant will represent the University in social, economic and political aspects.
Igabire, a third year student in the faculty of Management, will crown her successor.

However, Ingabire stressed that her term as Miss SFB was challenging. “My term was a little stressful being the pioneer at the University. But I had to endeavor and make my status useful to both SFB and the society.”

During her term, Igabire said that she participated in several social activities, including visiting orphanages, hospitals, and encouraged sports and education among the youth, especially the women.
